Özeti Ağustos 1969 – Ağustos 1981 yılları arasında D.Ü.T.F. Genel Cerrahi Biriminde 98 i kadın, 7 si erkek olmak üzere ameliyat edilen 105 meme kanserli hastanın dosyası incelenmiştir. Bu hastaların 12 sinde basit mastektomi, 93 ünde radikal mastektomi yapılmıştır. 105 meme kanserli hastanın 1 i ameliyat esnasında ve 2 si postoperatif devrede kaybedilmiş olup mortalite oranı % 2,8 bulunmuştur.
Between August 1969 and August 1981 105 patients with breast car-cinoma were operated on at the General Surgery Department of Medical Faculty of Diyarbakır University. We studied the case noter of these pa-tients. There were 98 female and 7 male patients. Radical mastectomy was performed on 93 patients, and simple mastectomy on 12 cases. Dur-ing the postoperative period, there were 3 deaths in 105 patients with bre-ast carcinoma. The mortality rate was 2.8 percent.
